A look back at the last week

I think the best way to sum up the last week would be… BABIES! We saw Champ for two days and we loved having three babies here – even if it feels a bit messy and noisy at times. (We also often wonder how people manage to have triplets or quadruplets!)

Check out the way he holds his head up! He started PT weekly and we are already seeing so much progress! He learns new things every week … and in the past week he rolled from his stomach onto his back TWICE! That was a HUGE milestone !!! (And yes, I totally cried!)

Champ thrives with his mother and we are so proud of her and him. He is now 14 months old, takes a few steps, starts saying a few words, and is always on the move! He’s weird and makes us laugh all the time. He’s also learning a few different signs (we can’t recommend the Baby Signing Times enough!)

We took them all to a friend’s soccer game on one of the days he was here recently. We basically look like we’re running a baby daycare! 😉

Seeing Kierstyn’s love on Baby D is one of the nicest things. She is constantly trying to hug him and make sure he’s okay!

Kathrynne and Kaitlynn went to their first prom! (Your private school has an entire high school prom, not just juniors and seniors.) You had the best time getting dressed for the occasion!

I had to look in the photo albums and pull out a few pictures of the girls when they were much smaller. (That was 12 years ago!)

Kathrynne is on the left, Kaitlynn is on the right. What does Kierstyn look like (below)?

Kaitlynn fixed Kierstyn’s hair in a hair tie! 🙂

Champ and Kierstyn have the cutest relationship. They always hug and hug when they first see each other and are so excited to be together!

We’ve spent a lot of time on the baseball fields lately. Kierstyn loves to encourage the guys with her smiles and cute faces!

He keeps surprising us how well he is. He loves this chair. I didn’t think he could sit in that chair but I got it out and tried and he loves it!

The older three came home from school and Champ was here and they were ALL so excited to be together!

Kathrynne and I took the babies to Knoxville on Friday to meet two of my sisters. They had so much fun hanging out with Kierstyn and meeting Baby D.

Happy birthday, sweet Kierstyn! Your life was one of the biggest and best surprises ever!

You bring so much joy, laughter and sunshine to our home with your smile and your love and your funny antics. We are so proud of you! The way you love both Champ and Baby D is especially the cutest!

When Baby D came to our house 6 1/2 weeks ago, I wondered if it was going to be too much for you – if you were struggling with how much love and attention he would need from us. I remember the first night he arrived at our house. After I put him to bed, I held you tight and whispered in your ear: “Are you going to be mom’s great helper? Baby D needs a lot of extra love. “You took this opportunity and took your role as a big sister very seriously. They are always on the lookout for Baby D, hugging him with hugs, and doing everything possible to give him love and attention.

In this picture you look up at your daddy with sheer joy. It is our heartfelt desire that you love your Heavenly Father in the same way. We wholeheartedly believe that he has big plans for your future and we can’t wait to see them unfold!

We love you more than words can say, precious baby!

I received this beautiful message from a follower about my book, Love-centered parentingand had to share it …

I am so honored to have all of the 200+ reviews you have left on Amazon. Many Thanks!
