When I started, I didn’t know any better and did what I called the spray and prayer method. There was no strategy. I hadn’t even settled down yet.
How it works is that when you hit shit on the internet you spray praise with the expectation that if one day something goes viral and bounces it will be like a slot machine and then the money flows in is a spray and prayer method . There is no strategy or thoughtfulness behind this. I had no idea what I was doing, but I loved creating.
Money, mission and purpose
Your company content must be strategic. Your content should lead into your sales funnel and solve a big problem. What problem did I specifically solve with the financial material? People were freaking out about money and looking for marketers who could write about money. The point of your own business is to make money. To do this, you need activity. The world is there to listen to you about what you can do to resolve its pain point for it.
From freelancer to CEO
At one point in your entrepreneurship you realize that you cannot be a one-woman business. You need to be able to attract solid talent for quality work and be a conscientious and constructive member of the team. Gather people who are in line with your company culture, values, and mission to become an efficient, well-oiled machine, and delegate, delegate, and delegate the responsibilities of your new team. This is the only way to scale.
Becoming good and uncomfortable
It’s uncomfortable well and it’s not uncomfortable as well. I started thinking differently about expanding and scaling. My mindset changed to focus more on expansion and my business started to change. I didn’t know what I had done, but I had experienced it. So I started to become what Bob Proctor and David Nagel call unconscious competence.
Perfection is a mistake
Be okay with falling because you know you will get up again. Don’t look for perfection, because perfection is a fallacy. It is a consciousness that humans have created and constructed and that is completely inaccessible.
Some come from corporate or college education and believe they have the perfect blueprint roadmap. In reality, they don’t have the ideal blueprint because perfection just doesn’t exist. Go and jump into entrepreneurship and learn how to go. While you are on your business trip, you can adjust and adjust the settings.
You know, when you step back from freelance work and look at the numbers, you can begin to change your money and your business mindset. The shift occurs when you look at the numbers and see the results you get for people. I felt like I had a legitimate training company, not just a freelance writer title.
At this point, you can dream of having a future empire. You have already built the foundation. Now is the time to get your company where you want to be.
Scaling and building a business
When I started creating intellectual property, I knew we were overdue for a financial crisis. The first thing all of my clients would do would be to cut their marketing budgets if there was a financial crisis. I realized I needed a “Plan B”.
I realized that if I wanted to expand, I had to attract people and figure out new company structures. I had started realizing this vision of travel and letting myself run my business without my team in hand. That’s how I want to live.
When I started Persuade to Profit, my business doubled and we had various problems and I started thinking about scaling. I realized that it was no longer a question of survival. This is about how I want to live my life.
I designed a funnel and just thought, “This damn brilliant, my marketing funnel process.” My funnel can merge my marketing plan and merge my business.
