    The fee of 1.5 million

Those affected by the utility warehouse outage will not be directly benefited from the $ 1.5 million payment.

The regulator was made aware of the deficiencies following an audit report in 2018 and opened a formal investigation which found that the deficiencies occurred between 2013 and 2019 plans.

Customers were also not given the opportunity to repay fees by voluntarily installing a prepayment meter, nor were they offered energy-efficient advice on reducing their bills.

Utility Warehouse admitted that it also submitted inaccurate social responsibility reporting data to Ofgem between 2013 and 2019.

Ofgem said if customers are still experiencing utility warehouse issues they should contact the company directly to discuss their concerns.
