A COVID-19 vaccine is our best hope of getting back to normal – which is a pretty cute reason to get your shot. Now Krispy Kreme is sweetening the deal.

If you provide proof of vaccination, Krispy Kreme will give you a free Original Glazed Donut. No purchase is required. But why stop at one? With your COVID-19 vaccination card you will receive a free donut every day until December 31 at the participating locations.

How do I get my free Krispy Kreme donut?

If you’ve had at least one of your two vaccinations with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or have received the single-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson, take your vaccination card to a Krispy Kreme to prove you’ve been bumped into. All you have to do is flash your card. The staff do not take photos of the card or record any personal information.

You can redeem the offer in the shop or at the passageway. However, the giveaway is not available if you order online or receive delivery.

What if you and all of your newly vaccinated friends crave a donut? No problem. Load them into the car and drive to the drive through. Everyone gets a free donut as long as everyone in the car has a vaccination card. Visit the Krispy Kreme website to find a participating location near you.

What if i am not vaccinated?

Many people want to get the vaccine but are still waiting for their dose. But what if you don’t want to get vaccinated? We’ll reiterate what Krispy Kreme says on their website: Immunization decisions should only be made after consulting a health care provider.

If for some reason you haven’t received your vaccine, you can still stop by your local Krispy Kreme on Mondays through May 24th. You will receive a free original glazed donut as well as a medium brewed hot coffee.

Robin Hartill is a senior writer at The Penny Hoarder and the voice behind Dear Penny’s personal financial advisory section. She’ll get her vaccine (and free donut) as soon as the child under 40 eligibility opens on April 5th in Florida.
