It’s book launch day !! Starting this morning Love-centered parenting is officially published and available wherever books are sold!

And I’m pretty sure you should have a more professional photo to announce your book is available … but here we are! After two days of little sleep and tidying up, mom succumbed to the stomach problem yesterday.

I think it is only fitting that I should bring this book out the same week that I am learning how to care for a medically complex boy that we have just begun to care for. I had to take a trip to the emergency room because his feeding tube was leaking all over the place and spending hours on the phone and in doctor’s offices trying to track medical records and diagnoses, I got very little sleep from getting up for two nights with a 10-month-old throwing up was. Then I caught the stomach bug myself and barely spent hours in bed being able to move because my stomach was so sick. Oh, and it’s a pretty big week too, because in two days, Kathrynne (16) is taking her test to get her driver’s license !!

If you’re looking for a parents book written by a mom who figured it all out and has her ducks lined up, you should look elsewhere. 🙂

Love-centered parenting is my journey from the low point as a parent to the freedom and joy in my motherhood. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s honest … and it’s not your typical parenting book.

In it, I share vulnerably about mistakes I’ve made, lessons I’ve learned, and how I stopped raising parents for my reputation and started raising myself for relationships with my children.

My children gave me their blessings to tell many stories that I have never shared on the internet about fighting before – including severe anxiety, depression, and more.

This is not a book written from a pedestal. In fact, I start Chapter 1 by talking about the time we went to the emergency room four years ago and said to the lady at the desk, “My child is suicidal.”

I’m with you in the trenches of this educational matter. I am for you. And I want to share about the changes we’ve made over the past few years that have changed the way we are parents, our relationships with our children, and the whole tone of our home.

It has been a love work to write this book, and I hope it blesses and encourages you!
